1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AccommoZED platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Use of the Platform

AccommoZED provides an online marketplace connecting property owners (Hosts) with individuals seeking accommodation (Guests) in Zambia. We facilitate bookings but are not a party to the rental agreement between Hosts and Guests.

3. Account Registration

You must register an account to access most features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details updated. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Host Responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate, their properties comply with local laws and regulations, and they honour confirmed bookings. AccommoZED reserves the right to remove listings that violate our policies.

5. Guest Responsibilities

Guests must treat Host properties with respect, comply with house rules, and pay all applicable fees. Any damage caused to a property may result in additional charges.

6. Payments

All payments are processed in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) through our payment partner, Lenco. AccommoZED charges a service fee on each booking as displayed at checkout. Hosts receive payouts after the guest check-in date, subject to our payout schedule.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are governed by the specific cancellation policy selected by the Host for their listing and our platform-wide Cancellation Policy. Please review our Cancellation Policy page for full details.

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not use AccommoZED for any unlawful purpose, to transmit harmful content, to misrepresent your identity, or to interfere with the platform's operations. Violations may result in account termination.

9. Limitation of Liability

AccommoZED is not liable for the actions or omissions of Hosts or Guests, or for any loss or damage arising from use of the platform beyond the amount paid for the booking in question, to the extent permitted by Zambian law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zambia.
